Magnificent, astonishing gardens
Towering, colossal ziggurats.
Egypt, with wicked, hard-hearted Pharaohs
Gigantic, massive pyramids,
The elegant, glorious Nile.
Israel, with God’s powerful law,
The immense, monumental temple,
And the plentiful promised land.
Greece, with dishonest, immoral gods,
Brilliant, kind, athletes,
Fascinating, philosophers.
Rome, with great, mighty emperors,
Strong, clever armies
Mighty, terrific gladiators.
